Abstract: Background: Ventriculomegaly is the increase in the size of the cerebral ventricles, which may or may not be related to hydrocephalus, causing a delay in the child’s motor development, the sooner neuropsychomotor alterations are found, the greater the chances of an effective intervention. Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the influence of the effects of a neuroevolutionary exercise protocol on gross motor function in children with Ventriculomegaly using the GMFM scale. Methods: This is a case study, consisting of a sample of two male children aged 5 and 15 years, diagnosed with Ventriculomegaly, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. They were evaluated by the Gross Motor Function Measure Test – GMFM in the pre-intervention and post-intervention. Ten sessions were performed twice a week with the Bobath concept neuroevolutionary exercise protocol, with a total time of 45 minutes. Results: When analyzing the Gross Motor Function Measure – GMFM test, we verified that the results in the pre-intervention in participant 1 had an average of 74.8%, participant 2 had an average of 34.1%, and after the reassessment participant 1 had an average of 83.4%, participant 2 had an average of 63.4%. It found that participant 1 had an increase of 8.5% and participant 2 had a 29.3% increase in gross motor function. Conclusions: The results revealed that through the neuroevolutionary exercises of the Bobath Concept, an improvement related to stimulation in motor performance and functional capacity in children with ventriculomegaly was obtained.
